2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170

Who knew a boat would be the quickest car in the world?

Just when electric cars seemed unbeatable on the drag strip, Dodge releases the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, the seventh and final “Last Call” special edition model. The Challenger is the quickest accelerating production car available with a 0-60 of 1.66 seconds!

The car includes all sorts of improvements from the previous models, including a new fuel rail and injector system that allows 25% more (up to 164 gallons per hour) fuel to flow through the injectors. Other improvements include a Power Chiller system to cool the supercharger and new pistons, rods, nitrade-coated intake valves, valve guides, cranks, billet main caps, spark plugs, and an upgraded crank damper/ The car has a peak output on E85 rated at 1,025 hp and 945 lb-ft of torque. The car pulls 2.0 g off the line (on a prepped surface with rollout), and blasts through a quarter mile at 8.91 seconds at 151.17 mph.

With production set to start this summer, this $100,361 car is the quickest car money can buy.
