GMC Hummer EV

A new iteration of GMC’s 2006 Hummer

In 2006 GMC released a civilian version of their military hummer. That hummer, as glamorous as it looked, was like throwing money down the drain. It ate up gas like people breathe oxygen. The hummer was quickly discontinued, and it remained that way until 2020 when GMC announced its new electric-based hummer series.

The Hummer is the ultimate outdoor vehicle. It not only provides luxury and comfort but also boasts many revolutionary ideas. The Hummer has independent front and rear wheel suspension, making the ride as comfortable as they come. It also has a 12-inch clearance and can rise to 16 inches. The hummer actively changes its height depending on speed, so it can either increase clearance or increase aerodynamics. The hummer has full underbody armor, so it can take on any terrain without damage. The hummer also has 4-wheel steering, which reduces turn radius, making it as nimble as a compact car.

But the specs don’t end there. The Hummer also contains removable roof panels, allowing for a clear view of the sky, but also a view through GM’s tinted panels, which provide protection from the elements while providing a panoramic experience. The Hummer also has a BOSE 14 speaker audio system, which also contains an Electric Vehicle Sound Enhancement (EVSE) system for enhanced feeling. The Hummer also contains built-in super-cruise, GM’s self-driving software. Finally, GM also added Regen on Deman to the Hummer, meaning that one can control the hummer without touching the breaks. When the gas pedal is released, the Hummer will automatically start regenerating energy and breaking, slowing the vehicle.

Moving on to performance, the hummer can go 0-60 in 3-3.5 seconds, one of the fastest accelerations for an SUV of its size. The Hummer also has 11,500 LB-FT. of torque and has 800-1000 Hp. The Hummer can go 350 miles per charge and can charge 100 miles in just 10 minutes.
