Karma GS-6 and GSe-6

Built on Fisker Automotive, the Karma GS-6 is a new name and brand to the GS-6 series

In 2007, Henrik Fisker founded Fisker Automotive, aimed toward building the world’s first high-end plug-in hybrid. The first versions of the car were delivered in 2011, but production ended in 2012 when Fisker’s battery supplier went bankrupt. In total, about 2,500 units were made. Then, in 2016 it was renamed Karma Automotive and a 550,000 square foot factory was opened in California.

The 2022 version of the GS-6 is built on this original version of the GS-6. It is hybrid, with an electric range of 61 to 80 miles. The GS-6 is powerful with 536 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque in sports mode. In its all-electric mode, the car is silent, but can just as quickly transform to a roaring monster when the engine fires up. With the battery at least 90%, the GS-6 can be used in launch mode, with a thrilling acceleration.

However, the GS-6 isn’t the only car on Karma’s horizon. The company is also releasing the GSe-6, a full-electric version of the GS-6. The GSe-6 will have a range of 230 miles and is slightly cheaper than its counterpart. However, it has similar specs when compared to the GS-6

From the outside, the car is a beauty. It’s long and sleek, coming with 21-inch wheels. The GS-6 might be one of the best-looking four-seaters in the market. However, its look costs it trunk space, which is just 6.4 cubic feet.

The interior of the car doesn’t disappoint, continuing the sleekness seen on the outside. In the center of the dashboard, there’s a 10.2-inch touchscreen that contains a majority of controls for the car. The steering wheel also contains buttons that can be used to control different aspects of the car.
