NFT Space Time Memory
Space Time Memory is Lamborghini’s historic first NFT project.
Lamborghini has just announced its first NFT project. Lamborghini worked with artist Fabian Oefner to create five unique art pieces that will go to auction on February 1st, 2022. The five pieces depict the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae flying into space. The Lamborghini’s parts are shooting away from the back like fuel in a rocket. The five pieces show the car within seconds from each other
Though the piece looks computer-generated, in reality, it’s a collage of pictures. Oefner photographed more than 1500 individual parts of the car and used a weather balloon equipped with a camera to take a picture of the stratosphere. The artist then carefully organized these photos into a story. Each piece has more than 600 million pixels, and if you start to zoom in you see more and more details, all the way down to the firing order of the V12 engine. The longer and deeper you look, the more you’ll discover.
The Space Key
Each piece also comes with a physical component, The Space Key. The physical component of the key comes directly from outer space. The component is carbon fiber used in testing in the ISS in 2020 as part of a joint research project. During the seven months it spent in space, various tests were performed and its durability was tested in some of the most extreme circumstances known to science. Back on Earth, Oefner engraved a QR code on the element and encapsulated it into a block of Aluminum.
