Ferrari Purosangue
Ferrari released its first-ever SUV, the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue.
After seven and a half decades of Ferrari excellence, they’ve finally released their first. We’ve seen a similar move for ultra-performance companies like Lamborghini and Porsche with the Urus and the Cayenne Turbo. These cars exponentially grew the two companies, with the Urus growing to over 50% of produced Lamborghinis and the Cayenne saving the company from bankruptcy. However, the biggest difference with the Purogsangue is that Ferrari is also an ultra-luxury company, making their SUV a mix between the Urus/Cayenne Turbo and models like the Bentley Bentayga and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Purosangue means thoroughbred in Italian and has been received really well. about 3,000 units will be produced every year with a price tag of about 400,000 dollars.
Specs
The SUV will be a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine capable of producing 715 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque. Despite being a heavy SUB, its 0-60 is still a stunning 3.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 193 mph. Another cool feature is that the car has suicide doors, opening to 79 degrees each.
