McLaren Artura
McLaren releases its first hybrid car since the P1 halo car, the Artura.
Though there have been hybrid McLarens before, the Speedtail and P1, the Artura is McLaren’s first hybrid car that isn’t a limited model car, but rather a car anyone with the money can buy. McLaren has recently faced criticism since most of their models have used the same twin-turbo V-8 and carbon chassis, however this all changes with their V-6 Artura and its first in-house monocoque chassis. The new car is agile, light, powerful, and efficient.
Specs
The Artura also comes with some impressive stats. The engine and motors create 671 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. The top speed is 205 mph and it can go 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. The car’s quarter-mile time sits at about 10.7 seconds and the Artura’s also the most efficient Mclaren ever built.
